The group was organized in Long Beach, California, and is a versatile and self-contained group of musicians, songwriters and vocalists. All music that has been recorded by this anointed group has been written or arranged by the Musicians For Christ.
Presently, Rev. M.H. Russell & the Musicians For Christ has seven recordings that have received airplay. They have performed locally and nationally in performing arts centers, music workshops, gospel festivals, outreach ministries, prisons, homeless shelters, churches and praise centers.
Additionally, the group has worked with Grammy Award-winning artist Bobby Jones Gospels, the Billy Graham Ministry and many others.
